The unit of work
What a corpus is.
A corpus is the maintained body of record for exactly one entity. It is structured, not a folder of documents: attributes with types, statements with dates, relationships with evidence. It is assembled from public record and licensed sources, reconciled so one entity never becomes three, and versioned so nothing is ever silently overwritten.
Think of the standard a federal background investigation holds itself to — identity established, history corroborated, associations documented, every claim traceable to a source. That is the bar each corpus is built against. Where the record does not reach it, the corpus says so rather than padding the gap.
A corpus is alive. Sources are re-read on a cadence suited to what they are — filings when they land, prices as they print, registries as they publish — and every pass either confirms the record or versions it.
Persons
The dossier
Names and aliases, birth, education, licensure, employment, directorships, property, filings, statements, associations. The file an investigator would build, held to an investigator's standard.
Organizations
The living file
Registration, structure, officers and directors over time, filings, press releases, litigation, sanctions exposure, and market prices tracked as a series — for companies, funds, agencies and NGOs.
Places
The gazetteer
Sites, facilities, jurisdictions and regions — with what is located there, what has happened there, and which entities the place binds together.
Events
The occurrence
Transactions, incidents, operations, proceedings, announcements. An event carries when and where it happened and who the record places in it — which is what makes participation queryable.

What organizations make and sell: releases, recalls, certifications, components and supply relationships — linked to the companies behind them and the events around them.
How the record is made
The pipeline is the product. Everything downstream — the graph, the API, the answers — inherits its discipline.

Read the sources
Public registries, filings, court records, press, market feeds and licensed databases — plus, for commissioned corpora, the sources a customer brings. Each source is read on its own cadence and each read is logged.

Resolve
One entity, once
The hard problem in entity intelligence is identity: the John Doe in the filing, the J. Doe on the board and the Doe in the press release are one person or three. Resolution is scored, evidence-backed, and reversible when new evidence lands.

Version
Nothing is overwritten
A changed fact closes the old version and opens a new one, each stamped with when it held. The corpus you query today can be replayed as it stood any day before.

Provenance attached
Only then does a fact reach the graph and the API — carrying its source, its collection time and its confidence. An answer is always an answer plus its receipts.
The question is rarely what is true.
It is what was true when it mattered.
Diligence, disputes, investigations and underwriting all turn on state at a moment: who controlled the company when the contract was signed, where the vessel was registered when it sailed, what the filing said before it was amended. A record that only knows the present cannot answer any of that.
Every Verumdare fact is an interval, not a value — so the timeline on the right is not a feature of the interface. It is the shape of the data itself.

The fine print, up front
Who this is for, and who it is not.
Verumdare is licensed to organizations with a lawful, professional need: corporate security, financial-crime and sanctions compliance, due-diligence and underwriting teams, litigation support, journalism in the public interest, and government program offices. Licensing is reviewed, not self-serve.
Verumdare is not a consumer reporting agency, and nothing it provides is a consumer report. It may not be used to decide employment, credit, insurance, housing or any other purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act — and the license agreement makes that a term, not a suggestion.
Coverage
Corpora are commissioned as well as maintained — if the entities you care about are not yet covered, that is a conversation, not a dead end.
