What this is

A search engine hands you documents and leaves the reading to you. Verumdare maintains the answer itself: for each entity it carries a corpus — the attributes, the history, the filings, the statements, the changes — assembled from public record and licensed sources, reconciled, and kept current.
The name is bastard Latin. Verum dare — to give the truth. We hold the mirror up to the record and report what it shows: with provenance on every fact, and with the honest answer when the record is thin. What we do not have, we say we do not have.
Verumdare is not a consumer product. It is built for private corporate and government use, under license, for the people whose job is to be right about other people, companies and events.

For a person, the corpus reads like the file a professional investigator would assemble: names and aliases, date and place of birth, education, licensure, employment and directorships, property, filings, public statements — each entry pointing back at where it came from.
Because entities link to entities, the file does not stop at its subject. Board seats point at companies. Companies point at co-directors. Events point at everyone recorded present. The questions investigators actually ask sit one hop away.

A company's corpus tracks what a company does: incorporation and registration, officers and directors as they come and go, filings as they land, press releases as they are issued, and market prices as they move. Not a snapshot — a record that accumulates.
When leadership changes, the old officer does not vanish from the file. The record shows who held the seat, from when to when, and where they went — because the previous CFO is usually the fact that matters.

Between the corpora runs a knowledge graph: employment, ownership, family, co-location, participation, supply, succession. Every edge is typed, every edge is dated, and every edge carries its evidence. That is what turns a pile of files into an instrument.

Verumdare ships as an API and as a set of MCP tools. Your analysts query it from the tools they already use. Your language models call it mid-conversation — so an assistant whose training data ended last year answers from the record as it stands today, including the record only your organization holds.
A web application is coming for the desks that want one. The API came first on purpose: the customers who need this most already have the software; what they lack is the substrate.
Provenance or it does not ship
Every fact in every corpus points at where it came from and when it was collected. An answer you cannot trace is an opinion, and we do not sell opinions.
Time is a first-class axis
The record is versioned, never overwritten. Ask what is true now, or what was true the day the contract was signed — the graph answers both, and shows what changed between them.
Private by construction
Your queries, your watchlists and the corpora you commission are yours. Nothing a customer does trains anything another customer touches.
The honest gap
Where the record is thin, the answer says so. A blank field marked unknown is worth more than a guess, because the people using this act on it.
